A superb example of the Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster, finished in a beautiful Sunburst and built in Corona, California, USA.
The American Acoustasonic Telecaster is a genuinely versatile instrument, combining the familiar feel and playability of a Telecaster with a lightweight, resonant acoustic construction and Fender/Fishman electronics. It works beautifully as an unplugged instrument at home, but really comes into its own amplified, where it can cover an impressive range of acoustic and electric-inspired sounds.
This example dates from 2021 and features a solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany body and neck, an ebony fingerboard and Fender's comfortable Modern Deep C neck profile.
At the heart of the guitar is the Fender and Fishman-designed Acoustic Engine, using three different pickup sources: an under-saddle piezo, internal body sensor and Fender N4 magnetic pickup. These are accessed via the 5-way selector, with master volume and blend controls allowing you to move between and combine the different voices.
The result is an extremely flexible guitar, particularly well suited to live players who need convincing acoustic sounds without taking a traditional acoustic guitar on stage.

Condition
The guitar is in very good used condition and has clearly been well looked after.
There are just a few minor cosmetic marks from normal use, including the small marks to the body edge shown clearly in the photographs. Nothing significant and nothing that detracts from what is a particularly attractive example. The photographs form part of the description and I've deliberately shown the marks rather than trying to hide them.
The guitar has been professionally checked and set up by Six String Garage, so it is ready to play.
As with all used guitars sold by Six String Garage, it also comes with a 6-month warranty for additional peace of mind.
