An absolutely stunning example of a Mexican-made Fender Standard Telecaster, finished in gorgeous Lake Placid Blue with a maple neck and fingerboard. This guitar is quite genuinely in mint condition. It is exceptionally clean throughout and has clearly been extremely well looked after. The Lake Placid Blue metallic finish looks fantastic in person and, combined with the maple board and parchment/white pickguard, makes this a particularly handsome Telecaster. Dating from the 2012–2013 production period (serial number MX12168729), this is from the highly regarded Mexican Standard era, before the range was replaced by the Player Series. If you've been looking for a really clean Mexican Fender rather than something that's accumulated the usual decade-plus of knocks, chips and buckle rash, this is a lovely one. It has everything you'd want from a Telecaster – that unmistakable bridge pickup bite and twang, a warmer and rounder neck pickup, and a wonderfully simple control layout that has made the Tele one of the most enduring electric guitar designs ever produced. The maple neck feels superb and the guitar has been professionally checked over, restrung and set up in the Six String Garage workshop, so it's ready to play. It also comes complete with a hard case. Key features: • Genuine Fender Standard Telecaster • Made in Mexico • 2012–2013 production • Lake Placid Blue metallic finish • Maple neck and fingerboard • Traditional Telecaster single-coil pickups • 3-way pickup selector • Master volume and tone controls • 6-saddle bridge • Fender sealed tuners • Serial number MX12168729 • Mint condition • Hard case included • Professionally checked and set up • Fresh set of strings • 6-month Six String Garage warranty This really is an exceptionally clean example. Mexican Standard Telecasters have become increasingly popular on the used market, and finding one from this period in this sort of condition isn't particularly easy. A fantastic choice for somebody wanting a proper Fender Telecaster that's been looked after, professionally prepared and is ready to enjoy. £529 including hard case and 6-month warranty. Collection from Six String Garage in Whitminster, Gloucestershire. You're very welcome to come along, plug it in and have a proper play with absolutely no pressure to buy.
