Yamaha SLG200S Silent Guitar – Natural –
A superb example of Yamaha’s hugely popular SLG200S Silent Guitar, combining the feel and response of an acoustic guitar with an incredibly practical, lightweight and virtually silent design. This particular guitar is in very good condition, only a couple of very small marks, and comes complete with its original Yamaha gig bag, paperwork and Allen key. The SLG200S is designed around conventional steel-string acoustic guitar dimensions, so despite its unusual appearance it feels immediately familiar to play. The detachable frame makes it exceptionally portable, while its near-silent unplugged volume makes it ideal for practising at home, travelling, late-night playing or anywhere a conventional acoustic would simply be too loud. Where the SLG200S really comes into its own is when plugged in. Yamaha's acclaimed SRT Powered system blends the guitar's piezo pickup with a studio-quality modelled microphone sound, producing a remarkably natural acoustic character without the feedback issues often associated with a miked-up acoustic guitar. Onboard controls allow you to adjust volume, bass and treble, as well as blend between the SRT microphone modelling and piezo pickup. There's also built-in reverb and chorus, plus an aux input and headphone output, making it an exceptionally versatile practice and performance instrument. Specification Yamaha SLG200S Silent Guitar Steel-string model Natural finish Yamaha SRT Powered pickup/preamp system Piezo pickup with modelled microphone sound Adjustable SRT/piezo blend Volume, bass and treble controls Built-in reverb and chorus effects Headphone output for private practice Aux input for playing along with music/backing tracks Line output for amplification, recording or PA use Detachable body frame for easy transport Supplied with original Yamaha gig bag Original paperwork and Allen key included Mint condition The guitar has been fully checked and professionally set up by Six String Garage, so it's ready to play and enjoy straight away. As with all our used guitars, it also comes with a 6-month Six String Garage warranty for complete peace of mind. £479.00 An excellent choice for home practice, recording, live performance or travelling — and particularly useful for anyone who wants a genuine acoustic-style playing experience without the volume and bulk of a traditional acoustic guitar. Available from Six String Garage, Whitminster. Viewing and collection welcome.
